Resources

As we strive to provide the best care for our clients, we often come across resources and references that we feel would be helpful to our students and their parents. We will try to make a note of ones we find particularly interesting or helpful here. This is certainly not an exhaustive list and some of the titles are classics that continue to provide relevant information. Check back periodically to see what else we have added to the list.

Unstrange Minds: Remapping the World of Autism
by Roy Richard Grinker. This is not a “how to” or a “how not to” support/rear/treat a child with autism book. It looks at the emergence of the term “autism” and tries to identify the reasons that it has become so much more prevalent. An enjoyable read and an interesting perspective on autism.
